If I Am Doing Everything Right… Why Do I Feel So Wrong?
I ate clean. I tracked every macro. I never missed a session.
My routine was flawless. Sleep schedule: optimized. Recovery days: scheduled. Supplements: stacked. I did everything the fitness influencers preached, everything the science said would work.
But something was deeply, frustratingly wrong.
I'd wake up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck, even after eight hours in bed.
My muscles stayed sore for days, that deep, gnawing ache that stretching couldn't touch.
Simple tasks left me winded. A flight of stairs felt like Everest.
The worst part? When people saw me at the gym, they'd say things like "Man, you look great!" or "I wish I had your discipline."
If only they knew the truth. That behind the muscle definition and clean eating was someone who felt like they were falling apart from the inside. Someone whose joints creaked like an old door every morning.
I looked strong. I felt broken. I was scared.
